Is there a good compartment latch/lock. The ones I have are round with the key barrel lock. But you can easily twist them to get into a locked compartment. I’d like to have a good latch that locks, at least keep the honesty people out

I agree 100%. They would be great if they were completely metal/stainless. I have looked/asked around and haven’t found a solution yet.

The only ones I have had “spin” on me were loose. The brand name I have is perko. They have a large plastic nut that threads on from the back. Sometimes they need tightening. Check yours and see if they are just a little loose. Replacing them isn’t cheap, $40 a piece for the non locking style.
