Contact walleyesforme to see if you can grab his freebie from his last Ram purchase. Or just bring instruments with you, all this technology these days is ruining music! rotflol jester rotflol I’ll show myself out, thanks! whistling

Has any one seen or heard a turtle box ? I see lots of great reviews but starting at 500 bucks it’s a tough blind purchase.

AT Joes go check them out. I have a Bose Revolve, have had it for years. It has sat in rain puddles in my boat. still works great. That said those UE Booms are good too and louder if you are looking for that.

Timely topic. I was looking to get a Bluetooth speaker for when I’m throwing bags in the backyard and barbecuing. Spring can’t get here soon enough.

I contacted JBL about repairing my charge speaker. They had me take pictures and email it to them… After about 3 weeks of no further communication from them, I had a new one at my doorstep with a note thanking me for being a long time valued customer. The only 2 JBL products I have purchased are that speaker and I had a CD player I installed in my S10 back in high school… summer of ’98.

I have the JBL charge 5 and an older Bose. The jbl is LOUD w good sound, waterproof and about the size of a quart bottle of booze w/o the bottle neck.

Hey Bearcat, you’re gonna love that Extreme 4, I have the 3. But also check out a replacement battery on Amazon. It’s easy to do and then you’ll have 2. I just did that with mine and it’s back in service. Cost like 30 bucks.

X2 on the soundcore motion boom! I have 1 and will be getting a second now that I know about the sale. It’s loud, sounds great, has an app with an equalizer that actually works, it FLOATS, and can be paired with another one for supposedly true wireless stereo.

In true IDO fashion you know what you need to do. This one has wheels, so it’s like portable ya know rotflol

The only real IDO option. Everything else is too small and lacking in resale value.

I have had several over the years and its hard to beat the sound and price of the JBL Charges. I think the one I have now is 4-5 years old. Like you I use it a lot.

I was able to find a replacement battery for 30 bucks. Hopefully that’ll fix the charge and i can give it to the kid.

Pretty amazing the sound and volume you can get out of the Bluetooth speakers now.

The athletic association donated one for my kids school to be used for the gym. Warmup music, introductions, national anthem, etc.

The one they bought was huge and it had more flashing lights on it than a Vegas slot machine. But holy cow, great sound and it was PLENTY loud.

Caution, however! If you’re the DJ spinning the Bluetooth records, make sure you have the kid friendly PG 13 function enabled on your streaming service. Easy to get used to the radio version of songs and forget the full flavor version has a few more naughty words.

Was at rockfest a few years ago and one of our camping neighbors had two of these networked together. It was awesome, I’d say they are definitely “loud enough”, whatever that means!
