…. a little wild and gamey tasting, my blue cheese cracker spread is mellowing in the fridge for tonight’s tv time treats.

1- 4 to 5 ounce wedge of GOOD blue cheese…..forget about crumble and get a solid wedge that’s well veined
1- 8 ounce package of cream cheese, not fat free or diet junk
    1- teaspoon of garlic powder
1- tablespoon of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
****if you like some heat, just add to taste your favorite pepper sauce or maybe even some finely chopped hot peppers of choice

Bring the two cheeses up to room temp in a deep bowl. Add the other ingredients and thoroughly mix everything with a spatula. When the mixing is finished I transfer the spread to a smaller covered bowl and set in the fridge for at least three hours to allow the flavors to come together.

This is excellent spread on club crackers and if some smoked salmon happens to be in the fridge a little of it can be flaked up and added as a topper to the cheese. Thin sliced venison summer sausage goes good with the cheese/crackers too.
