These delicious day after drinks were brought up in another thread.
The bloody must be the drink with the most variations out there. Walk into many saloons on a Sunday morning and you’ll see a bloody Mary bar loaded with items to shove in your glass.

    Here’s our basic bloody…

    Vodka
    2 Oz of beer
    Worcester sauce
    A-1 sauce
    Celery salt
    Tobacco sauce
    A Clausen dill
    Spicy bloody mix
    And of course a snit

As far as debris goes, we really enjoy shrimp and beefsticks.

I’ve seen them served with chicken wings and sliders.

How do you guys make them?
    What bar serves the best?

I worked a bar years ago that wanted a splash of orange juice added.Stalk of Celery and a Pickle were the only chewables added.

Its usually made into a snack for myself. And whatever is on hand goes in, kind of seasonal.

Romaine lettuce leaf, whole carrot, beef sticks, shrimp, lunch meat rolled up, celery, olives, pickle spear or whole, hot sauce, bologna, leftover pizza, wings, meatloaf, the list goes on….

I normally start with half clamato half Mr T bold and spicy mix. add A1, worcester, celery salt, salt and pepper. typically pickle, olives, celery, beef stick or summer sausage, cheese stick. have added pickled asparagus which is pretty good too.

We keep it basic at the house. Zing Zang, xtra Worcheshire, ground peppercorns mixed with vodka and ice in a celery salt rimmed glass. Then a dash of white pepper on top.

Garnish with whatever roughage I have on hand, which is usually garlic stuffed olives, pepperoncini peppers and a pickle spear.

IMO clamato has no business in a bloody. I like Zing Zang’s for spicy mix, or just spicy V8. My parents keep some homemade premix in the fridge that is the best! It’s a secret recipe that I hope is included in the will, since I haven’t gotten it out of them yet! lol You can’t have too many “garnishes” either imo.

Best restaurants for them would be Jimmy’s in Sauk Rapids, any Ol Piper Inn, Grizzly’s, or my personal favorite Patrick’s in St. Peter.

Another Zing-Zang fan. Also like to add horse radish to add a little zip.

Another variation of a bloody mary I like is use orange juice instead of tomato juice/bloody mix and don’t add anything else except vodka.

Once, just once try your bloody with spiced rum instead of vodka.

Don’t dis it til you try it.

I also like Clamato, Nancy boy or not. hah I like a 50/50 mix of Clamato and Spooky horseradish mix. The Spooky brand is not easy to find but it started in my hometown and it’s available at a few places locally.

Some other necessary ingredients are: celery, beef stick, Claussen Hot & Spicy pickle, 2 tablespoons of Hot & Spicy pickle juice, a shake of Worcestershire sauce, 2-3 shakes of black pepper. A garlic stuffed green olive is icing on the cake. toast

That’s a couple unique things about a Bloody Mary. They can be had at anytime and you might not ever have the exact same tasting one twice!

    With or without Nancy. ;)
