    Has anyone tried non alcoholic bloody Mary’s?

    Absolutely love them & the ways to kick em up are endless but have never had one without the fire water. Due to being an idiot & living in the bottom of a bottle each night for 6yrs, I’m lucky to be above ground.

    All the time. My favorite drink. Almost always without the alcohol. Here is the one I made on my first day of retirement. This had vodka and, of course, a snit. It was my breakfast.

    That did it! My online grocery cart is stocked with goodies. Olives & shrimp with all that= fat, full & happy! I make mine spicy & use zing-Zang mix for the base, yum yum applause

    I ate all the goodies already. But a good mix is the 2 dads mix I just got. I like to have one on the weekends in the morning before I go fish. I keep it a virgin but add a little pickle juice.

    Not a Bloody Mary guy but had to show my wife the one you concocted there netguy. Mistake. Had to get out of the recliner and get the terry cloth rag and wipe the drool off of the Ipad screen.

    Good lord who eats sweet pickles, right up there with mushrooms.. thankfully I had dills in the fridge, wasn’t aware the ones I bought were sweet, yuck!

    Bloody Mary’s are great. I used to always make my own mix. It has just not been the same after grandma stopped making her tomato juice. A bloody sounds very good right now after seeing the ones posted. It has to be dill pickles with some juice tossed into the cup.

    The olives (both garlic and jalapeño stuffed) always end up on the bottom. It’s like finding the prize in the bottom of a box of Cracker Jack.

    These days my favorite bloody mary mix is 5 Pepper from Master of Mixes. It has some kick so if you find it too spicy you can cut it with some Clamato or tomato juice. Always make mine with homemade spicy dill spears, a good splash of pickle brine, jalapeno or garlic stuffed olives, sometimes a celery stalk and rim the glass with celery salt. Definitely need at least a six pack to quench my thirst after.

    As for sweet pickles, the only things grosser in a bloody are sweet pickled mushrooms. But I do love both of them if they’re not the sweet kind.

    I didn’t like them until I had a good one. My wife used to order them all the time. I’d try it and always say “tastes like watered down ketchup”. One of our favorite bars brought in a couple new bartenders that showed me what a good one should taste like.

    I love me a good Virgin Bloody Mary. I probably drink more of them without alcohol. I struggle to find me a Mix I like. The old Jero Jalapeno mix was the best. They have discontinued it. When I spoke to someone there asking why. They said the only place it sold well was Central Minnesota. I know buddies who use to buy it by the case ( They all lived in Central Minnesota ) Have not found a Go to since. I keep trying different ones hoping to find a new one I really like

    highbanks resort on Winnie made a top notch bloody mary. Kim finally told me she gets the mix from the Coco Cola company. i asked a good friend of mine who worked for coke. he sid they only sell it to verndors and not the general public.

    here’s a homemade bloody mary mix i got from one of the beer tenders at a EWinners bar here in cold spring. iffin ya dont like this one something’s wrong with you!!!! rotflol

    1 can clamato juice
    1- tablespoon chopped garlic
    1 tablespoon horseradish
    1 tablespoon black pepper
    10 drops worchestser sauce
    8 oz pickle juice
    1 tablespoon celery salt

    mix well when you pour it………….keep in frig!!!!!!!!

    I’ve found many golf courses & bars having great bloodies, they’ve had a lot of practice.
    Taking a couple day break from making another, think I’ll back down on the goodies.. yesterdays had 4 huge olives, 8 spears of asparagus, beef stick, celery, huge pickle half, on top of making it very spicy with habanero, tsp of horse radish, a clove of garlic, spicy v8 & spicy zing zang mix, uffda!

    No booze ever again for this ol dog, almost a year now after a month & a half living in Methodist hospital hooked up to every monitor & needles possible. Drugs by the handful, massive needles stuck in my belly & my back draining fluids, Blood tests 3x a day, 8 cat scans, having them trying to have my last rights read which pissed me off, said I’m not going anywhere yet. Not been this sober since 10yrs old, what an idiot I was.

    I can handle quite a bit of heat, I’ll eat 4 in a row of the spiciest pickled peppers I can find, no problem. My daughter stuck the end of one in her mouth without biting, thought she was gunna pass out

    To each their own but never got the food add ONS. Seems way overdone in some places I go to. If I wanted chicken wings I’d order chicken wings, if I wanted a salad I’d order a salad, etc.

    Besides when all that crap is on there you don’t get to enjoy the best part, the lady friend licking the salt off the rim.
