Tuesday I shared the fun underwater footage of the group of Colorado River Cutthroat Trout, my buddy and I came across. Today I share the actual fishing from that day. It was a really fun day although fairly grindy…All the cuttys we got were outside of that main pool from Tuesday’s video.
We landed some really nice ones and I think they look 2x better fresh out of the water then in. I also managed to catch a fish with my net, after sitting there, motionless for 10 minutes. My buddy also landed a close to Master Angler Tiger Trout. Had some really nice shoulders on it. Got some fun release shots underwater of it too. Everything C&R this day.
Fun way to escape the heat fishing with a friend! Weekend is coming up and we’re FINALLY going dispersed camping deep in the mountains! Hope you all get to go out and get into some fish!! Tight Lines Everyone!🎣
