I ran the blower through a wet, heavy 2″ mess before dinner that would have been terrible had it frozen. Just beginning to dust here at 8:30.

I got a inch, maybe a inch and a half wet snow. Still warm here, 32 degrees this morning.

I’d say 4 to 5 in Outing. Currently 32 here also. Windy but snow is to heavy to blow around.

Doesn’t look like we got much here in Mound. Sure is windy out though.

Also doing the no carb diet. Woke up one day and realized all id eaten the day before was about a dozen cookies and some beef sticks. thought to myself “this has got to change”. Started the diet on the 4th and down 15 lbs. Got 3-8 more to go before i hit my goal weight. then i gotta figure out how to keep em off

We have a slushy 3.5″ or so here on the banks of Pool 4. The precipitation was there, but the temps just didn’t drop enough to let everything stick right away.

This was the second consecutive forecast for a winter storm that amounted to approximately 50% of estimated totals for our area.

We have a Hockey Tournament for my oldest son in Marshall, MN this weekend. We decided to get a jump on the weather and make the drive (from New Prague) last night. Was smooth sailing until the last 20 miles or so and then it turned to white-out conditions almost instantly. Most of the team is driving today (they don’t cancel Hockey Tournaments). I don’t know about the rest of the state, but it’s nasty out here in SW MN. our first game is at 5:00, Hope we get enough kids for a couple of lines and a goalie!

Another let down of a storm for us sledders. I shoveled twice yesterday to make it easy. This morning I used the blower for about an inch of the heaviest snow I have ever seen. The plow drift was like a cinder block wall.

Be careful thunder!! I did see last nite on 511 there was some no travel advised out that way. I just got done cleaning up the snow. If we had an inch that was it. But it was wet and heavy.

Things are going to be very dicey when this all freezes. Shoveling slush is not fun at all!

Waited till late morning to do my driveway just south of Saint Paul. What a wet heavy mess. Going to be a skating rink later when it freezes out.

X2. Tested out the new Yamaha Kodiak 700 last night with a 60” plow. Old one was 55” but man is that extra 5” noticeable…

    Dirty jokes incoming….

We were losing snow due to rain at a good clip until just a bit ago it switched back to snow in EP.

Big nothing burger. Less snow at our cabin than when we left last Sunday due to melt. I just put a leg through the ice and got soaked!!! Lol. Next to shore but it was solid last week. Be careful out there.
