I know we have done this before, but I can’t remember the guy who sharpens auger blades. I remember watching his video on how to wrap them for shipping, help please.

FYI. Might want to check with some local bait shops, to see if they have a blade exchange program. My local bait shop does this and it works out GREAT! He has blades for most(not all) hand and power augers, for a fraction of the cost of new ones. I take my old blades in, grab a set of re-conditioned/sharpened ones, pay and out the door I go. No shipping charges to worry about. Been doing this with him for about 10 years now. Never had any issues/problems with any of the blades I/we use on all of our augers. Just a suggestion, that’s all. Take care, be safe and tight lines.

Who do you go to in the LaCrosse area? I have a Jiffy chipper blade that could use some work.

Not sure I would want to swap my barely used blades for blades that I have no idea how many times they have been sharpened.

I have a spare set and change them out at the end of every season and have the set I took off sharpened.

Shorty at Prairie Bait in Wabasha sharpened blades for years. Not sure what his current status is.

Shorty did mine, located in kellogg, 6 miles south of Wabasha. Sharpened mine while i waited. If i remember right it was around 5 dollars last year.
