For those interested, I saw that BPS/Cabelas Black Friday sale will have the 10” Echomap 106sv for $999 (or $899 if you use their credit card)

And have the 126SV 12” version for $1,500

They’ll also have the 93UHD for $699, but they’ve had it at the price for awhile now….

All come with the older GT-54 Transducer…

its better for sure, sell the GT-54 for around $100-$150 and then find the GT-56 for sale online for around $350…

The Cabela’s/Bass Pro ad does not state the Garmin model # but I am pretty sure for the 106SV it is 010-02112-01.

Has anyone actually confirmed if the only difference in the 106SV Ultra with GT54UHD (010-02112-01) and the 106SV Ultra with GT56UHD (010-02527-01) is the transducer?

In the specs for the 010-02527-01 Garmin lists the display as IPS display. I can’t locate/confirm if the 010-02112-01 is also IPS display.

The head units are identical, just the Black Friday Sale box has the GT-54 and the expensive one has the GT-56

I feel bad for anybody who paid the high price for the GT-56 one…

Absolutely, and if anyone would like to buy the 54 I have one for sale on FB marketplace. Haven’t had any luck getting rid of it.

    Hey guys,

New to the Garmin site as I just picked up these black Friday specials. But reading this thread, do you all recommend that I send these back for refunds and pickup the new units? Money is a big consideration for me and this will be my first forward facing sonar unit.

To summarize, I bought the Echomap 106SV with the GT54.
And the Panoptix LiveScope System GLS10 and LVS32 Transducer.
Black Friday I got all this for $1800.

Its all still in the box and could be returned, without breaking the bank, what’s my best option? Roll with this gear or return all or return 1 or other?

    TIA!

What are you trying to accomplish? Upgrade to the 34? Thats a really good deal and Im sure there is a large number of people who would buy that set up for 1800

Should I upgrade to the 34? Is that worth the cost upgrade?

    Stick with what I have?

From all the reviews I’ve read, while the 34 is better, the 32 was pretty good in its own right.

You should stick with what you have, if you like Livescope wait until the 2.0 version to upgrade to…

The LVS34 is about 20% better in terms of range and clarity…
