Started off the night using live suckers cut suckers and sudden impact stink bait.

Fishing on the beach of Everts fishing resort.

Ms. Tramar, Jeff Trumar, WalleyeNordie, catfish Jaden and a host of others were present.

The action started out slow but soon change to the hectic pace.

Catfish Jaden was the first to put us on the board.

We had a little break in the action to enjoy the fire.

Then we thought we had a big Ol’ flathead.

Turned out to be a little turtle.

What a great night to be on the shores of the Mississippi River!

    Now it’s time to go
Back to enjoying the fire until the next bite.

I caught a smaller pike a few years back at night. It does happen. I’ve never heard of one on stink bait. Toss in the odds of catching one in the dark and I’m sure the odds are slim to none.

Had I not been there I’m not sure I would have believed it.
