As of Good Friday, I’m no longer the Admin of the Everts Resort FB page or affiliated with the resort (with the exception of having a camper down there). Please direct all questions regarding river, bite, cabin availability and the resort in general to that page, Chris Winchester or call the resort @ 715-792-2333.

A little less responsibility and a little more relaxation and roasting marshmallows and spam in a campfire?

Well then, the place will now surely sink. But good for you. Let the R&R begin. Now you and RRR can sit back and enjoy your fried spam sandwiches and a cold Hamms while watching the greenhorns direct traffic. lol

If you and RRR could stomach a Grain Belt Premium I might stop down for a visit this summer. toast

You have been a great asset for the resort for these many years. You have earned all the time off and leisurely fishing you can handle.

Bk, thanks for all you have done for us and the resort. I am certain things won’t be as easy and we will stumble here and there. I hope the extra time will help you fine tune your walleye fishing techniques.

I have always appreciated your level-headed and easy way with information and sometimes controversial issues. You are skilled at this stuff. Good luck fishing!

Was this a resignation or a forced thing? Don’t want to start any controversy, but I’m just curious. Between you and Dean, you guys were their best marketing department they will ever have. Enjoy your Spam burgers by the fire….it’s well deserved!!

Thanks for the reminder… someone dropped off a bag last weekend. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside peanut butter… and damn they were good.

Sorry, I didn’t see the “for Dean” until the bag was empty. whistling

All I know is if I ever make it back up there to fish Pool 4, I will be making a point to find BK’s camper. Still need to shake the hand of the legend. I look forward to it as much as the fishing.

Almost 47,000 post on this site, and all of them either helpful, or adding fun to the reading.
