It’s that time of year again. Spent the last 2 nights acid washing the boat, changed oil, lower unit grease, spark plugs, fogged cylinders put batteries on tenders, antifreeze in the livewells, a coat of wax, emptied all the compartments and put my Warrior to bed for the year.

It’s time to hit the woods and waters. Heading to the farm this weekend to a list of projects to get ready for the bow and waterfowl season. Had a great year at Mille Lacs, caught a ton of fish, but it’s time to turn the page to hunting season. Tough every year to put the boat away, but that first whiff of gun powder or the first sit in the tree makes it all better. Bring on the hunting season chased chased

Depressing. I’ve got til the end of the month before I put mine away yet. With the almost 8″ of rain we got the other day I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just put it away now tho. The river is going up 4 foot by Monday here. Fishing is gonna suck for the remainder of the month now.

Mine stays out year round for river fishing. Nothing better then December 22nd pulling a boat to a area and being the only one around pounding walleyes

Stays in the water all season. It was nasty. I use the star brite hull cleaner from fleet farm. Stuff is magical. Spray on let it soak for 5 minutes then wash the boat with soap and water. A coat of wax and she is ready to hit the water next spring.

Didn’t take a pic this year, but this was last year I think. Looks the same every year, but shines up nice.

I have had Ryan from Marine clean do it before and he did an outstanding job and it was a whole LOT less work for me. I really wish the FW would let me take it to him again.

I was just contemplating putting the boat away for the winter. With hunting season right around the corner and one last BWCA trip planned, I don’t foresee the boat hitting the water until next spring.

The channel water at The Wharf does a number on your boat! Nicely done, looks like new!

Just tell the FW it’s a friend.

A friend…with benefits, that you have to pay…maybe don’t word it that way to the wife tho.

Sticker I always love looking at your boat (clean or dirty). However, I like it when I see it dirty, because that means we are about to go out and hammer eyes!
