My last weekend of taking out folks sturgeon fishing is coming up this weekend.

Every year it’s the same thing. Happy I’m not “working” 7 days a week, but sad because I’m not getting to watch a newbie hook into the largest fish of their life time (in most cases). AND that another summer has come an gone.

I’m pretty excited to have acquired a Marcum Lx-9 for recording under water video.
    Stay tuned.

in the mean time maybe I can talk someone into taking me out for my annual token walleye fishing trip on P4?? devil

I need a snap weight snap and I’ll be trying to record a sturg taking a bait. Fingers crossed….

    Nov 7 or 8th.

No trolling. I heard it didn’t do very well in the Saugerama.

    Dustin, you know Murphy?

What ever you do at the end of the day you’ll say “I should had done the other”.
So far it’s been a slow bite according to the guides I’ve talked with. You’ll get a limit of eaters but it might take you all day.

If you enjoy being in the boat and taking in the outdoors without instant gratification, P4 might be for you.

On the other hand, with water temps at 55 and dropping they could turn on in a moments notice. ‘course that about the time you’ll decide to go deer hunting. LOL!

I will never understand fishing for sturgeon on purpose.
