My Hummingbird Ice 55 will not turn off with the switch? I am able to turn it off with a battery lead. Once the lead on the battery is removed, the unit will be off. The unit will turn back on once I switch the unit on…….looks like a trip for repair?

anyone else ever hear of this issue?

    Thanks,

My 35 does that. I just disconnect the battery and it resets it self

My Bird 55 would do that also when I moved from hole to hole. The male leads going to the battery were loose and when I picked up the 55 it would move one of the leads and not make good contact with the battery. I took a pliers and gently crimped both leads and it has worked ever since.
