I read roughly one novel per week. Favorite authors include Flynn, Child, Clancy and Patterson. Probably why I like tv series like Bosch and Jack Ryan.

However, I just started reading One Rough Man by Brad Taylor. I am about half way through and am really enjoying it. First book I have read by Taylor but it looks like I have a new series to go through.

The Night Agent on Netflix was pretty good-crooked politicians, spies, assassins, etc.

My wife and I got started on “the 100” after my son and daughter-in-law said they were watching it on Netflix. We ended up watching all 7 seasons, which was 100 episodes, in 3 weeks.

I’ve been watching Waco on Paramount. It’s very good.

Curious to know your opinion of it, being in your line of work. whistling

I heard House of Cards was good….

House of Cards was good until Spacey had his public issues then it was a turnoff to watch it and the show died.

Lol I don’t work for the ATF or the FBI in domestic terrorism or hostage negotiations. I’m not going to get into what line of federal law enforcement I work for right now, but its not one of those.

As for my opinion, I have found it to be very interesting though. As I stated, I wasn’t really old enough to understand or take any interest in it when it actually occurred in 1993, so my basis for comparison is middling at best. I was only 11 years old at the time and I only faintly remember it even occurring. I’m sure that the show is fabricated compared to what really happened. Clearly the ATF and the FBI made some enormous blunders during this stand off – especially the ATF.

I think there is another one after the original series WACO is over too. Its called WACO the Aftermath or something. I’ll have to check that one out too.

I don’t watch TV very often. I binge listen to old vinyls. Listened to to a entire John Denver record last night while modding out the new golf cart

Never met you BC but read a lot of your posts over the years.
Never in my life would I have taken you for a John Denver listener!

Nothing new but I really like watching Port Protection Alaska on Nat Geo. Cool to see the way that all the people work together to help each other out. Also cool to see the interaction between the older long time residents with the newer younger ones.
This is what is posted about the show:
” The approximately 100 residents who call the rugged, unforgiving land home push the limits of survival, living an isolated and risky existence of self-reliance with no roads, government or law enforcement. However, they think the risk is worth the profound reward: a world of beauty with the security of community without the constraints of bureaucracy.

It sounds like the life that a lot of people on here would like to live. Personally I’d love to live their life – if only I was a younger man.

I like Port also, but the best character passed away in a house fire.

I also like Life below Zero, but cannot stand when they are outside without hat or gloves on, fingers & ears exposed.. and they say its -40’F currently. WTF, who believes that crap ?

Just finished the final season of Peaky Blinder, seriously one of my favorites of all-time. Bad news is the show is over, good news is Season 7 is going to happen but will be in movie form on the big screen!

I couldn’t handle the rain, the wetness, the dampness. I mean it’s pretty constant. Everything is wet…ALL of the time…That would get old quick.

I just remembered Sprung on Freevee. It is completely stupid and I found it hilarious.
