Dis you see me on the cam or did you drive through?

We caught 1 coho and 2 lakers. Was really slow for us and heard it was same for everyone else.

I saw reports over a week ago of good coho fishing up by Silver Bay. I gotta imagine they’ve made it close to Grand Marais by now.

Also heard reports of kings coming from McQuade area.

Side note. I shared the boat with a future fisheries biologist. He has a full ride to MSU Marquette for fisheries biology. He is planning to specialize in AIS and plans to become a contractor for DNR agencies.

Camera. Recognized the truck with the center console boat. Had to smile at the “hold up”.

Water temp ranged from 58-61. The coho we caught was right on the surface. Pink x-rap.

    Good luck!

Impressive young man, thanks for sharing Biggill! How did he end up in your boat?

My wife and I are good friends with his mother. We actually met them at a B&B the night I got engaged.

I can’t wait for him to get some more education under his belt so I can learn more myself. It was a cool experience for me just because he already knows so much about fish biology.

By the time he’s ready my wife’s office should have lots of openings. Fisheries division Dept of Interior.
