Well I can’t report any improvement went out for a couple of hours this morning, not a single bite, 4 others came down next to me and they only got 1. Think I’m leaving it alone for a while.

I think the quiet in the BC forum kinda says it all. From what I hear, it has been hit or miss. For myself, I was there last Tuesday at dusk and got skunked. Don’t read too much into that, I was tossing topwater plugs at the beach; using the 10% solution 100% of the time…

On the bright side… It has been a fairly remarkable year up at BC. I have heard (and seen photos) of more large walleye and musky being caught up there then in recent memory. I fished it alot this spring… then it RAINED… and pretty much ruined everything. White bass started up on Saylorville so I left Big Creek and except for an occasional hour or two casting plugs from shore, I havent been back.

    Good luck,

    Dave

I’m about finished with BC skunked again I may go in a couple of weeks with a buddy with a boat, otherwise I’m heading elsewhere.
