Whats the fishing and water level like?

I plan on fishing this weekend
what are the water levels like
i will be fishing from shore
what have been biting lately

Just got back from a recon mission to Big Creek. The water is still high and dirty. Water clarity is maybe 6 or 7 inches. I would guess its up about 3 feet over normal. The boat ramp I went to was functioning. Two guys pulling out commented that they had no luck but had gotten plenty wet today.

The Big Creek spillway had water flowing but nothing extraordinary. The bottom of the spillway was filled with pelicans, so I assume they are finding something to eat there.

If the rain will stay away I think by this weekend things will have settled down enough to get back to semi-normal.

Saylorville is completely a different story. Most all the ramps are underwater. The shoreline has disappeared and the lake is full of debris. Its a total mess; it may be weeks before it will be fishable.
