Big Turtle Lake (Itasca County) tips?

    Guys

    I’m heading up to Big Turtle Lake with my family in early August. Gonna be there about a week. I’ve never fished that lake before and was wondering if anyone had any general tips for that time of year for catching eyes and/or crappie/panfish. What sorta general techniques would you use on this lake that time of year? PM me if you prefer.

    Sorry. Apparently it’s just “Turtle” lake, up north of Grand Rapids along Highway 38 (I tried editing my original post but can’t figure out how to do that).
