Big sandy ice conditions?

    Anyone been to big sandy lately? A friend and I are heading up Saturday morning. We were told they were driving out but no one ever gave me any numbers on ice thickness.

    Channel 5 weather this morning reporting 20 inches in Mcgregor. Hardest hit location in the state.

    It must have been really localized. I noticed Wright (15 miles east) reported 10.6″ and Kettle River only 5.9″.

    I called big sandy resort this morning and they said they got 14 inches of snow. Going to call me back when the plow truck gets back in.
