The last 10 days have seen a change in the salmon fishing in the Two Rivers area. NE an E winds blew in warm water, overnight increasing our temps 10-15 degrees. The numbers of shallow water fish we were getting scattered out over deeper water. We have seen cool water set up 50′ down. The numbers of fish have gone down, but the average size has gone up. Either green flashers with a Horny Toad Fire Fly or a white flasher with a LBB Miragre UV or Jelly Fish Fire Fly off down riggers have put some nice kings in the boat early. The biggest coming in at over 28lbs. The next 4 weeks should see the biggest fish of the season make their way yo the cooler as the stage to spawn. We do still have a few openings for the year. Take your shot at the fish of a lifetime.
