I am looking at giving this lake a try this weekend. Has anyone ever fished this lake or know anything about it? Looks like the max depth is 5 ft and there has been a winterkill situation in the past. Anybody have any tips? Thanks

the most activity I see on the access off hwy 6 is during waterfowl season. often wondered what fishing was like out there. my dad said my gramps used to fish it???????

Spring of the year (after the openor’…) you can troll shallow raps and spoons to do well on Northern Pike. You will occasionally get into areas that have walleye also but this is early on of course. Winter fishing I would have to think is all about Tip Ups and Northerns but to be honest I have never seen anyone fish it in the Winter. Good luck if you go! RR

What he said, I drove past this opener and it was packed full of cars. After that not much, I don’t think it is that deep of a lake is it 10′? Suppose to be some really good northern’s in it.
