Big northeast Iowa buck

    My brother-in-law just sent me this picture of a big northeast Iowa buck that a friend of his got.

    Huge! But he doesn’t need to sit that far back to make it look bigger

    Yeah and you can see the stick holding the head up on the right antler. Not his left hand.😀

    I find it hilarious!

    Probably not trying to fool anyone with the photography. Think it’s darned good humor with all the exaggerated photos of fish and game out there. Well done, and nice deer! toast

    Not that big of a buck, nice yes but not huge by any means. The inside spread is only about as wide as the ears 16 to 17″ Here is a 125 to 130 about the same size with a 17″ inside spread

    Here is a toad, 178 5/8 gross with very little deductions. That is an 18″ wide rug on the floor, 22″ inside spread, 230 lbs field dressed.

    It’s from IOWA so it has to be HUGE by default….. is that the shooter across the trail behind it ?? crazy Nice buck, respect it, don’t wreck it.

    Spot on…The only reason he is sitting soo far back is to make the deer look massive. He doesn’t need to do that. That thing is a slobasaurus of a buck…RR
