Was curious how the walleye fishing was in this lake. I know generally with clearer water eyes can be tough. Not looking for any spots or techniques, just seeing if anyone has ever done well.

I’ve never tried but I think it’s the only one I’ve noticed on the DNR’s website that says “Walleye don’t bite well in this lake.” lol

Its an urban lake that gets LOTS of pressure. I quit going there because of that.
    Its is a beautiful lake.

We got this 23″ walleye a few years ago trolling with a crawler and spinner rig.

According to DNR it is stocked regularly and the avg sample size was impressive.

I fish the lake a lot, mostly for crappie. Every year I get a few real nice walleye fishing for crappie at night.

I’ve always felt BM, aside from the bass leagues, has fairly light pressure.

Last time I was out to Big Marine, the landing on the south end of the lake was very shallow and difficult to use for anything bigger than a small, light boat. I’m always hesitant to be backing in and getting all 4 wheels wet when I don’t know how firm the bottom is.

The north end landing is somewhat better, but the drop on the ramp is steep and there was a nasty “step” from power loading.

The lake looks good, but I’ve never done very well there on anything.
