BIG CHUBBY WINTER CHANNEL CATFISH!

    Went to a shore fishing spot I had been looking at on google maps on the MN for channel cats today. Rough weather, rough water, and so much debris coming down the river it was almost impossible to keep your bait in one spot. Tough to catch fish when your 6 oz no roll sinker is bouncing along the bottom. Still good to get out and try though.

    I know you love stink bait Andy. LOL!
    This was taken in December a few years back.

    Water was 41 degrees. By watching closely a person can see the fiber bait dissolving and sending a trail down stream.

    PS Channel Cats do not like the bright leds of a camera!

    In case anyone forgot there are catfish in the river. Now is the best time to get after them. peace
