Mr. Heater hose with regulator and quick connect – #F271803

    Amazon has them for 31.48

YES! Guys who want to use a remote tank PLEASE use this hose you will save US and YOU a ton of grief.
No, you do not need a filter with this hose and yes, it works great. If you do get the other hose make sure you get the filter. FILTER not one with just a regulator, it must have a filter.

Sorry for the rant guys that know the ropes on these hoses. I just thought it was worth repeating. -)

You’re welcome Pete. I am sure someone like you would be the first to complain when it didn’t work properly because you know everything. Typical teenager. LOL

Mine came in yesterday but I changed my mind and got a refund at the store instead. Good turn around time.

Don’t forget the filter if you plan on running the hose. Good deal.

Mine hasn’t showed up yet. I called my store this morning and they said “in transit” on Dec 9th. Not sure what they use for shipping, but that is slow. Oh well, I don’t need it now anyway.

You actually don’t need a filter if you use the quick connect (low pressure hose). If you use the other hose you do need a filter.

Did anybody successfully get one? I spent the better part of 2 hours today on the phone with 3 different people just to find out that they charged me, never shipped the product, and now are out of stock. An hour earlier they still had some in stock but I gave up after a 15 minute hold while being transferred. They said I will be getting a refund.

I was able to get mine for $86 online with the code. Picked mine up at the Fargo, ND store last week. They called my cellphone and notified me that it had arrived to the store.

Picked mine up on the 16th in Blaine. A bit slow to get there but worked fine for me. That store got in about 30 that day for in store pick up from on line purchases.

Buddy heater newb here, about how long do you guys get out of 2 1# tanks? Low/med/high all different but general lengths would be appreciated.

Need to start figuring out how to heat up a rather large Eskimo Hub. My big buddy or Mr.heater 30-60000btu torpedo devil

And how effective is the fan? Alot of batteries required, anyone hotwiring to a small battery?

What does a guy do with all the leftover 1# bottles?

Unless I’m hoofing it a long ways, I usually hook up to a 20lb tank… Not worth buying a 4 pack of 1# for 12$ when I can get a 20# tank filled for 15$.

I also know that Fleet Farm sells adapters to refill them off a 20# tank, but it’s illegal in MN. (what isn’t?) Anyways it’s tricky and can be dangerous, I know a few people who do it though.

Never ever hear it was illegal in MN. If it was how can all the hardware stores sell the adaptor??
Also, many many guys refill and its not dangerous at all if done outside and you keep it away from any flame like smoking a cig!

Check out youtube and you will find all kinds of guys and easy ways of doing it. Perfectly safe IMHO.

Mine came yesterday, got a call from the store. I complained about the 2 week shipping time, The guy told me I just could have come and took one off the floor right after I ordered it. Who knew

Sorry to hear that. Ordered mine online with the promo code and it took about a week and a half. Got an email from NorthernTool.com saying it had arrived. When I picked it up at the Blaine store the guy told me the same thing as they did to Bigcrappie, I could have picked one off the shelf after I ordered it. At least it’s here.

I bought a small rechargeable 6 volt battery and then made two wire extensions which I plugged into the battery compartment. Worked great! You have to take the back cover off but it isn’t a big deal. I stored the battery in the one side compartment so I lost room for a 1 pound cylinder.

I picked up my big buddy last Friday. Delivery took a long time but with no ice and the fact I already have one big buddy I didn’t mind.

Sorry for all of the updates, but it ended in success. I stopped at the Rogers store today to find them in stock. I told a manager my story and he agreed to honor the original price. $85.81 out the door!

I also found a floor jack I had previously purchased on sale, so I saved some money too.
