Anybody familiar with this lake or have any info on what might be working out there. I saw a report for shiners in 10-22ft are producing some walleyes, but that is the extent I know. Heading up there for the day on Saturday with a buddy and looking to have some sort of direction to start. Looking to catch some walleye but honestly would settle for some decent perch, crappies or sunnies. I have never fished the lake and any help would be appreciated. Thanks for any help! waytogo

I’ve been hearing the 14 to 22 ft range, look for sunken islands, inside and outside turns on steep breaks, I might be out there on Sunday!

there are two sections to fish with a narrows between them. It will depend which section you want to fish. I know there is some good structure just west of the narrows. I think most of the ice fishing is done on the North side. Try north of the bigger island. If you can find a lake map there is a smaller island north of the big island that can be good. If you are going to fish the South part, try the South East corner. If you just want crappies and gills, go to the shallow bay on the north side or on the south west corner. I have not heard of any perch being caught??

Yeah it doesn’t seem like the number of big perch are there. We are thinking about starting on the SE corner and working some of the shallow humps close to deeper water. Hoping to close in on some eyes but plans may change. waytogo
