As I was pulling my sled off the ice last night my bibs kept getting longer and longer eventually the crotch was around my knees. It’s hard enough pulling all my equipment off the ice I don’t need any extra “help”.😄 Does anyone have a “hack” for keeping their suspenders in place after you’ve tightened them?

Put a belt around your bibs. They make these stretchy belts now adays that work good for this. That will keep the weight off the straps, which is what is causing the straps to lengthen. Or, like Red-Eye said, Tape em.

You might actually appreciate how a belt will reduce the weight on your shoulders also. (Fatigue Reduction)

As FishBlood mentioned, get a belt.

A “wading belt” designed to wear with chest waders would work well for this application.

Not as comfortable but I have crossed mine to keep them on. Right strap over to left snap or leave hooked normal and lift strap over you head.

Bungie cord around my waist was a God send for walking into the BW a few weeks ago.

In the past, I bought a pair of suspenders and sewed those strap in place of the bib straps. That worked. Stretchy straps help keep the crotch up so you don’t rip the crotch out. R.I.P. bibs at that point.

I’ve tied a knot in the past. Didn’t even notice it was there, and it was easy to untie to adjust if needed.
