I must have stepped in something greasy before getting in my Skeeter WX1850. Is there a cleaning product I can use to remove the spots without damage to the carpet? I plan to spot clean with Dawn dish detergent before I scrub the whole floor unless someone has had success with something better. I’ll appreciate your suggestions.

Years ago I took over a 87 359 Peterbilt classic that appeared the carpet was wore out. Old timer informed me it was not wore out but matted down from years of fuel oil and grease. He said to soak the carpet with a garden hose and use a bottle of dawn work it for a long period of time. My boss thought I fell off my rocker with gallons of suds and water rolling out of the cab doors. In the end the carpet looked like brand new.

So yes dawn works good in this situation. Also GOJO works well getting grease out of cloths without dis coloring the fabric.

The waterless hand cleaner GoJo works well for this.

I have always said……It’s not a truck unless you cannot just clean it out with a hose grin

That goes for pickups too…. waytogo
