Best Upland Game Shears??

What does everyone use for game shears for cleaning their upland game? I recently bought a pair of Orvis game shears this fall, but was incredibly disappointed with the quality for the price of these. They would simply bind up in the feathers and not cut. Needless to say, it was frustrating that an $80 pair of shears would not take the wings, or head off a ruffed grouse without a lot of effort and because of that they will be sent back. Thanks for the help!

I’ve got the Gerber shears and they work awesome, specially for the price! They take down for easy cleaning, also.

X3 on the Gerber. Easy to clean too. I am on like 3 years with mine.

I’ve got a pair of Kershaws that are available on the PF website. They’ve worked well for 2 years now.

I have been using a pair of industrial tin snips from the place with 11% off for many years. Work great, I just sharpen the removable blades at beginning of hunting season and good to go.

I have the Gerber ones also and they seem to work fine.

I’ve always just used a knife. Is a game shear that much better?
