    I’ve been a lifelong St. Croix Premier fan and I hate to admit it, but I’ve switched to Fenwick Elite Tech and wouldn’t go back. But I still use a 6’6″ Croix for jigging.

    I don’t think one is better than the other, just a personal preference thing.

    the premier is a low end model the fenwick is a step up on the series.

    Great St. Croix rod for slip bobber fishing is LTWS 80 MLF2 Legend Tournament walleye series rod. 8 ft Med-lite power…..

    I love the Eyecon 7’6″ mlxf for both rigging and slip bobbers. It’s awesome for bobbers and for rigging with a half ounce or less. If heavier weight is needed I prefer a medium fast action.
