    I want to go in the worst way this year. My pup is nowhere near ready though. I can always hope things start clicking:)

    I’ll be taking my black Lab pup out this year she’s 10 months now. Can’t wait to get her on some birds.

    Just got back from S.D. hunted with the new pup and by the third day she picked up on what was going on, just like flipping a switch. For 10 months old she was trailing running pheasants and finding downed birds. I was really proud of her and our hard work we put in training. We got a lot of nice comments from our group of hunters. We brought back 107 birds for 9 Wi. hunters and 2 S.D. friends we hunt with.

    Sounds like a great hunt. My license won’t start til tomorrow. Windy pig out here again today.
