Ceramic bladed knife. Never gets dull.

I use a ceramic scissors I got off of Amazon. 2 years and still cutting like new.

SnapOn needle nose pliers. You all have a pliers anyway get a good one and it will be dual purpose.

I have the Boomerang which works great when new, it’s several years old and doesn’t give a clean cut like it use to.
Just ordered the Rapala Precision Line Scissors, recommended by a friend who has been using it for years without any issues.

Cuda at Walmart. Under $5.00 I have tried way too many and paid way too much $ Without a doubt these are the best.

Huh. Good to know. Thanks for the tip, Red! Seems like you could have a better grip on em while you do the ol snip instead of a longer blade and a slicing motion. Sounds safer especially if you’re out in waves.

What are they, $3-$4? May have to get me a couple of pairs.

Which Cuda shears, Red? I see that there are a few sizes.

Some Fiskar Titanium coated scissors I got 15 years ago. Put it through heavy use and it’s a bit loose but still cuts well.

I want to say I paid like $11-12 at Walmart for these but this is the shear. I didn’t realize they are “scissors” but they work awesome to cut the throats and bleed out the walleye.

I have received and tried all 3. I think I like the SamsFX the best of them. The Boomarang Snip it seems to cut real good as well. Just like the build feel on the SamsFX. Seem to be solid and really built nice. Now the test is to see how well each hold up over time. Got 2 of each. One for my boat and 1 for my buddies boat that I’m in more often than my own. They should get a good workout this summer.
