I have stayed at High Banks in the past. Wondering if anyone has info going out of the Eagle Nest Lodge?

Done highbanks, nodaks, judds when it was around, tamarack, Northland lodge, dennys, mcardles, and gosh dam place. Been fishing winni both summer and winter for about 20 years. All that said, the last several years I have used nodaks. Never really had a bad experience but like the Southside of the lake for ice fishing. My only complaint would be that dennys cabins could use some updating, but are generally clean. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’ve been up there once this year and I’m going back in February.

We go to Eagles nest every year. They have very nice cabins with full kitchens, bring your own food and cook. No bar or restaurant. If you have snowmobiles and ATVs you can go right from the resort. In a truck you would have to drive to a landing. They have a nice heated fish cleaning shack as well. VERY nice people. That resort isn’t actually on Winnie though. It is on Little Cut foot Sioux. it is a pretty good ride to the main lake if you drive across the lake.

We went out of High Banks this week. Hammered perch off the perch bar. Caught about 5 or 6 walleyes all in the slot too. We got our limit of perch and headed home early. Couldn’t get bait down fast enough. Was a really fun time. Not sure how their cabins and such are since we stayed in our ice castle but the bite is hot up there, it was for us at least!
