Best red lake walleye lures

    Heading up to red this weekend wondering what has been everyone’s best lures this year? Thanks

    Anything with a hook on it……..
    I use red glow buckshot style jigs and have no problems getting more fish then everyone else.

    I was there Sunday – Tuesday and We did the best with plain red hooks and a minnow. I caught and released a 27 incher on a rattle reel at 1 am.

    I was up a couple weeks ago. Best on set lines were plain bronze hook. I did alright jigging with a jigging Rapala chartreuse color. They were easily spooked by anything that rattled. That was probbably not the norm from what I’m told.
