Would like for it to be under 600 and have SI. Looking for suggestions.

Helix bundle. You’re going to need to up your budget though for a separate transducer if you’re wanting SI.

2nd the Helix! I’ve had a Helix 5 for years now and works great in summer and winter and travels easy. I don’t have SI, but they’re capable.

Just a heads up there is a Helix 9 in the classifieds for $590 with the SI ducer and power cord included. You could buy the ice ducer and make your own bundle. You will want a lithium battery to power that, but they should have a sale on them leading up to ice season. For $750-800 bucks you could have a heck of a setup.

I think Browndog just made a typo, but the unit in the classifieds is $490, which is a great price for a 9″ Helix. Like many others, I seriously considered buying it, but I want to hold out for a Gen3 or newer so I have the option to run Mega Live if I should want to in the future.
For $490 plus $100 for a new ice transducer, you would have most of what you need. A shuttle can be had for anywhere from $30 to $100, and a lithium battery, if you wait until Black Friday, should be available for $50-60, then you’d have a complete ice fishing setup in addition to a great open water unit.

Thanks, MOJO for the price correction.
