works for me. never a headache and cant smell it.

It’s your decision. But you can’t smell carbon monoxide, you just die.

So much drama in this statement doah The OP said he can’t stand the smell of the thermocell… it does give off an odor… which I cannot smell when its in the cabin. If that 1/4 cup of butane burned over 6 hours does me in, I lived a good life. waytogo

No drama bud, just facts. Thermacell themselves say absolutely do not use indoors or in tents.
It’s your life though, I wont tell you how to live it, or end it. I wish you luck

I just spent 8 days in the bwca. There are a lot of bugs but they didn’t seem too bad. The ticket is long sleeves, a headnet and treat all your clothes with permethrin. My trip partner and I didn’t spray bug spray once over 8 days. Long sleeves, headnet, and permethrin FTW!

Camped at the upper S. Croix, so bad if you could not breath threw your mouth or you would breath them in.
Skeets are worse at dusk than full dark, so instead of fighting crowds & bugs at the launch I like to wait a bit.
