Best live/dead bait

    Hi, I was just wondering what you use for bait. I have fished lake trout for years. My dad swears by live bait, but any time I give it a try I can’t catch anything unless im jigging.

    I have seen both ways. If under a tip up live probably works better. You can get by with dead bait if jigging.
