Heading up to Mille Lacs for the first time this year. Probably heading out of Isle going mostly for smallmouth. Wondering which launch you guys prefer in that area? Only ever launched out of the west side of the lake.
The public access at liberty beach is the best one. Cedar creek can be a bear if the wind blows. Isle bay public access is popular also.
If you were out today on that side you must have gotten pounded. We launched just east of Garrison and went to the mud and got beat up pretty good.

I would certainly say so too, although not all have a protected harbor but most do. I always put in at one of the resorts.
