What is the best ice line for panfish?
And what is everyone’s opinion on ice braid for walleye?

I’m pretty much just a Trilene guy. XL smooth clear 2 lb. or 3 lb. I usely change line 2 times in winter. I like the clear so I can color the line to suit my fancy. For walleyes it is pretty much the same only 4 to 8 Xl smooth.

I use a bunch of variety and they all will catch fish with subtle differences. Straight forward, I prefer Gamma ESP ice line. Next a variety of ASSO lines from their basic ice lines to ice heavy fluorocarbon lines. Pline Floroclear is also decent line.

As far as braid lines, I still use Fireline or Power pro ice braid. I also have some Suffix ice braids as secondary choice of use.

Thanks for the help I have been using trilene and it seamed to get brittle and snap when it dropped below 10 degrees which became a pain and started to cost money.
