mine Ion alpha plus and 13 fish wicked pro ice rods, I think they hit it on the head with the action of the rod and fast tips.

What are the 13s pro rods, I have 13s wicked ice and maybe widow makers I’ve liked for a couple years. But unless you find them on sale I’d rather spend a hair more on thorne bros. But I bought them on sale a couple years ago for 30 bucks and they are great.

Picked up an E40 and absolutely love it. I also just ordered a livescope that will be delivered this week. I couldn’t resist the discount price at Scheel’s. I’m looking forward to playing around with that.

Last year I got New Fenwick Elite Rods but did not use them till this year and really like them. They were 50% percent off and with a 9 year old fishing with me figured they were a good deal.

I bought a 2B Fishing Savant last year, never got to use it. Used it quite a bit this year, its a great rod for crappies, perch and light bite walleyes

    More pinhead minnows.

I was going to say the same thing. I haven’t bought much of anything this year. The kids flx30 was a solid deal for 250

I looked at them, but haven’t bought any yet, what size are you guys running and what you catching on them?

Mostly 1/16 I think. I have been using them for crappies. Caught my biggest metro crappie on one at 15 3/4 this year.
Honestly nothing that special about them but kept hearing about them so tried a couple and they flat out work for crappie. So had to buy more.
Haven’t tried them for other species really. Have caught sunfish with them while crappie fishing. Some pike and and a Muskie but not sure that had anything to do with the lure choice.

Otherwise I’m with you Bearcat haven’t really needed anything significant for a couple years now.

More pinheads as well even though I have plenty. Picked up a Thorne bros rod while I was in there a couple weeks ago and instantly fell in love so took it home with me

1/16 95% of the time. But I have had my days where the 1/32 outperforms. I’m only using them to catch crappie and sunfish but pike and bass bite them too.

My two BFS rod and reel setups. Absolutely fell in love with them and plan on more in the near future.

Not really this year but bought a bunch of mylar bags and over the winter sorted my soft plastics and hung them on a pegboard. Thought maybe seeing how much crap I had would mean I didn’t need to buy more. Now I can see what I’m missing really easily instead.

Do you fish pinheads naked or are using spikes, minnow heads, or plastics on them?

Same days just plain, some days with minnow heads, some days spikes. Alot of times I fish them plain tho. I think I have every color of every size now and rifle through them. The fish always seem to want 1 size and some times you have to switch through to figure it out.

I run the larger sizes and do real good for walleye as well. But they are all around a good bait. I have most all sizes and colors now.

Copper line for salmon fishing. Caught probably 80% of my fish on our July trip on the 250′ and 300′ copper rods. Not the most fun to reel in but it works!

Mostly spikes but I have caught some naked. Be sure to have a hook removing tool handy. The hooks are super sticky.

Why stop at just a Livescope?!

Got to check out my buddy’s new Ion Alpha Plus composite this past weekend. That thing was sweet to say the least.
