    1) When KARE 11 announces Al Roker is coming to the fair you can say “who gives a rats a$$” and mean it.

    2) You can laugh to yourself almost daily as you watch the NFL owners continue to fleece the public and the public continues to ask for more.

    3) All people ARE NOT created equal as we see in our daily lives.

    4) I care less about what people think of my opinion. After all….it’s just a opinion. jester

    5) the world doesn’t bow to the feet of the United States like we were taught in school.

    6) Posting this at 6:30 on Friday night of a nice weekend will keep the views to a minimum. wink

Have a great weekend and stay safe!!

Sitting on my dock drinking kentucky mules, watchin my bobber as I rig up two trolling rods with lead core. I plan on deep water walleye trolling for the very first time.

Getting old gracefully or crusty? Both I say. #4…yep. Don’t care anymore what other’s think. We’ve been through enough.
#6…not all of us are out on the lake or river tonight.

Sounds like from some other’s still tuning in, the Friday tonic is flowing freely. I’m just another wheel in the sky. Which one next?

hhmmm, after dang near a whole bottle of twelve year old george dickel sour mash whisky tonight, heres my thoughts on this thread.

my heart is safe enough for sex if I dont participate.

we are going to exit this world the same way we came in,bald, toothless, crapping ourselves and depending on someone to feed us.

I can wear shorts at my age and I dont care what you think.

who ever said all men are created equal has never been to a nudist colony.

there are no benefits of getting old unless you like the senior coffee at micky dees for a quarter.

religion is for those who are scared to death of going to hell, spirituality is for those like me who have already been there.

I am not going to my grave peacefully with a healthy body still looking like I did when I was thirty, instead I am going to slide into it sideways at full throttle totally worn out yelling WHAT A RIDE !!

sad you know, all of those health freaks and safety nuts laying in their hospital beds dying of nothing.

At 60 I finally didn’t have to buy a trout stamp, but by then the trout fishing around SE Minnesota was a junk proposition.

At 65 I no longer had to worry about optics during the Muzzleloader season but then they changed the rules this summer and everyone can use optics in the late season so it doesn’t benefit me anyway.

Seriously though, I wouldn’t trade what I have seen and experienced over the years to be a younger person today. I see my grandchildren and their parents married to electronics and know that if the electronics were to cease tomorrow they’d all be in a fit of depression. I’d wonder if they would know what it takes to live having to think. I wonder how many people could actually fish and if the electronics were taken out of the equation….locators and electric motors, gas augers and flashers and fancy portable shelters?

I’ve had a good life. I have done and witnessed things being done that I hope the young people don’t have to see, but being there has helped shape who I am. I have darned few regrets. Getting older definitely has rewards, one of which is wondering who the heck Al Roker is and why should I care where he goes?

Don’t forget to add that as you age, strippers think you have more money and you get a lot more attention at the strip club. jester

Plus your kids now know more than you. rotflol

One thing I have noticed getting older… I can watch reruns and it does not bother me because I can`t remember ever seeing them the first time.
