December Report for Bemidji, MN Area

Fishing in the Bemidji area remains steady. After a long December of working and working, it’s time for some serious fishing, and of course more working.

We got the rentals all moved out on to Lake Bemidji and have found the walleyes to be active. I have fished twice on the big lake, both times hooking up with 6 walleyes. Not a lot for size, but nearly all eaters. All fish have devoured a Demon Spoon with a shiner head.

Pannies are still going strong, with crappies and ‘gills still mixed nicely. Deeper water seems to be the ticket for nicer fish, while good numbers can be had on the edges.

Give us a ring for some Bemidji action. We’ve still got openings to fill. Ask about reduced rates for weekday slots…

Thanks for the report, Matt. That’s a nice line-up of wallies you’ve got there!

Please, forgive my lack of awareness here but fill us in on what you have to offer as far as ice guiding? Permanents? Portables and sleds? Lakes fished? Many, like myself, will likely be interested.

Thanks, Charles. James, nice meeting you at the Ice Show!

We offer fish house rentals (sleepers) on Lake Bemidji and sometimes swing the houses to local pannie haunts or better ‘eye bites near by. We also rent our full fleet on Leech Lake during the Eelpout Festival in Walker, MN. Everything from simple holes and bunks to queen beds and flat screens in the mix.

We also have private guided trips with ATV’s, sleds, and portables. Many backwoods lakes are explored and we have lakes all to oursleves many times…

Nearly 10 years in business, and we never get sick of hearing fish stories…

    Same here.

Flat screens and queen sized beds?! That’s livin’ large right there!

As for fish stories… reports… pics… please consider an invite extended to share here. We’re a friendly bunch and we love to talk ice fishing and currently we don’t have a lot of info from your area.
