Fishing in the Bemidji area has been very good for those who have been out on the ice. Many of the smaller pan-fish lakes have been producing a few less in numbers but if you are willing to put in the time and move around you will do well. Lake Bemidji has been putting out some nice perch with bonus walleye mixed in. Daytime fishing depths of 25-35’ of water and moving shallower during the twighlight hours.
As of Sat. lake Bemidji had approximately 11” of very clear ice. Not enough to get me to drive out there yet but a few more days will allow that to happen.
