Bemidji Muskie Lure Pipe Bomb

My wife told me about this story. Too funny! Here’s a small excerpt from the DNR website.(CO Mike Hruza (Bemidji) assisted Bemidji Police Department restrict access to an area containing a possible pipe bomb. The bomb squad destroyed the object. The container actually contained a muskie lure). Apperently someone saw a suspicious piece of pipe under a vehicle in Bemidji and it turned out to be a tube containing a Muskie lure only to be found out after detonation that it was a plastic tube containing a Muskie lure. Hopefully it wasn’t a Weagle, LeLure, or Hughes River overpriced bait that got blown up!

Now that is funny. Must have been a Delong KillR’ Eel in the tube…those things can be a weapon off mass destruction in the shallows.

That was a good laugh. This occured in a bank parking lot and they pretty much shut down the entire downtown. But better safe then sorry.
