Back from break and looking to get back on the ice, heard red has been producing but not looking to drive that far, caught a few perch earlier before break but nothing much, any one else doing anything?

I know a guy who is on the ice in the area every day. He was smokin’ the fish before Xmas but took a break of a few days for the holiday and has had trouble catching up since then….
