I know, it has been discussed before, but how about an update?

I’ve grown to love Magic Hat #9. I have no idea if they distribute in WI/MN. It has a very slight fruit tone and slightly rich like a light blonde ale.

There is only one true beer for us men and that’s Hamm’s.

Everything else is just a fad.

I’ve never gotten into the craft/home brew craze. Not much beats a Busch Light. Every now and then I met venture out and get the banquet beer-the original Coors, or a Budweiser or a Shiner Bock.

Sessions Lager is my go to at home. Its the perfect beer for me.
Good crisp beer taste and a hair over 5%. When out and about I order MGD.
Outside of that I am usually lost but try different beer all the time.
I try to steer clear of anything much under 5%. I consider that light beer regardless of the labeling.

I like Mich Golden Light if I’m buying it, and if I’m not buying I’ll drink anything that’s not a dark beer. I’ve been known to enjoy a Hamm’s on occasion as well…. It’s not bad! whistling

They do distribute in MN, have for quite some time. Most larger stores will carry 12 packs.

My FIL from Texas is an MGD drinker through and through but he really likes when I have Session in the fridge. Just a very good “beer’s beer”.

The most recent I’ve taken a liking to is: Lagunita’s Little Sumpin.

That one’s good, I prefer their Little Sumptin Wild when they release it. Lots of good beer available these days, Hamm’s included!

I don’t drink nearly as much as I used to, but I’m always on the lookout for new things. I like a lot of different beers, but hoppy beers are my favorites. Kona Castaway IPA is good. I just recently bought some Left Hand Hard Wired Nitro porter, and that is pretty darn good, too.

I will second the Lil Sumpin Wild. Also Indeed’s Haywire (Black IPA) and a new one I just tried Six Point’s Global Warmer which I think is an Imperial Red Ale.

    Grain Belt Premium. waytogo

Pug you have turned into such a yuppie. lol

I have a hard time drinking American lagers from the big Brewerys. I like a little more flavor.

I’m also a sucker for strong beers. St Bernardus ABT 12, Swamp Ape and anything Dogfish Head.

Outside of that I like local micro brews. Cigar City is the Surleys down here. It’s fun going to small brewery tap rooms and sampling their beers.

I’m starting to dig Corona Light with a lime.

Grain Belt is my go to, if it’s not available Michelob Golden Light. I will drink any craft beer, or German Beers. Wish I could get some Parkbrau Perminator, that was the beer to drink in the early 70’s in Germany for us Americans.
