Beef tongue

    Kept the tongue from the beef I bought. My grandma made this when I was a kid and was delicious. Anyone have a recipe for this?

    Pressure cooker or instapot. Leave skin on until after cooking

    Or take the skin off first and smoked it.

    only thing i’ve seen beef tongue used for is making blood and or liver sausage.

    seen it pickled also!!!!!!

    I once saw an episode of Jim Shockey’s at an outpost cabin in the Alaskan bush. He said moose tongue was one of his favorite foods. He simply sliced it and fried it up with butter, S&P. I don’t think Eva tried it though.
