With the release of the video on the Chicago shooting from last year. One thing mentioned was 16 shots were fired but only one officer fired. My question is, do hand guns hold 16 rounds or did he re-load?

Chicago didn’t burn, because they have better policing than the idiots that have continued to let things go on in Minneapolis.

Really? Chicago cops better then Mpls cops? Really? Mpls cops have handled the situation exactly as it should have been handled. Protesters have every right to protest. If they block freeways they should be locked up like they were. If they throw rocks they should be locked up like they were.

Chicago cops might be good, in fact i’m sure they are but don’t call them better then Mpls. cops. Lets see how the Chicago cops handle things the day before a holiday when nobody has to work the next day.

Shooting a defenseless person 15 times is a bit over the top, but why aren’t the other cops that lied about the incident not also going to the slammer?

He wasn’t defenseless, he had a small knife which he had in his right? hand which you can see in the video, and was prancing around like a fool.

But with that said no way in he!l he should have got shot 16 times, that cop was obviously having the worst day of his life and unloaded a large clip into him. No excuses for that. And I agree, if what you say is true in regards to the other cops they all should go down, that would really put a bad vibe on the whole CPD.

The glock 17 uses a 17 round magazine +1 in the chamber, and has to be the top overall pistol used by LEO, other than the G22 .40 cal. As for going to prison ect, if that’s what the evidence says than its most likely true. Many cops are taking heat for doing their job, of which the recent MPLS case appears to be heading towards. It will be interesting to see how the mob perceives the truths that will be out soon enough.

How many cops do you know in Minneapolis? I’m really hoping you just let an opinion force its way into an exaggeration that you typed. I’m not sure what your intent was, maybe you’re just referring to the ones that set policy.

I’m not trying to play the offended or victim card here, but in my opinion when you talk about “the idiots who have continued to let things go on in Minneapolis” it sure sounds like you’re talking full spectrum from the chief and policy makers all the way down to the officers on patrol.

I don’t know what about the situation. I do know that a nervous person can have a twitchy finger.

I would call that a intentional finger , not a twitchy one

In that moment it was intentional, but doubtful since he was a long standing officer this finally unleashed the killer in him.

Situations such as this bring up the need for further training in stress management, self control, and empathy towards those you serve. These officers see $hit day in and day out, horrific stuff none of us would even want to see once in our lifetime. Yet they are subjected to it daily, look at how many soldiers are coming home with issues, and we think an inner city cop will be just fine? This cop had stuff built up and something snapped, bad, that day and a kid is dead for it.

My hopes are not high in the ghettos of this nation to start living better lives, so we need to provide better assistance to those who protect us from the filth inside them. It saddens me when stories come out like this of officers BC it gives the naysayers of the world more ammo for whom should be honoured everyday heroes IMO.
