Too bad its gonna be a rainy day. A house full relatives wanting to play in the northwoods. What you gonna do?

Looks gorgeous. No sunrise here, nothing but clouds and rain.. a little depressing

That looks beautiful! Play in the rain, I say! Or one of my favorite rainy day activities… reading a book. Of course that’s a lot easier when your house isn’t full of visitors. chased

Looks very relaxing.I would be on the dock making a few casts and a cup of coffee in hand.

I was up at sunrise but I couldn’t see thru the rain drops on the window.

Go to Cabelas in Woodbury pick up some items for crappie fishing next weekend, swing by Cowboy Jacks for a bloody and pull tabs, on the way home pick-up a bunch of Coronas and start drinking them so when I watch the Twins this afternoon it won’t hurt so bad.

I came up to the lake hoping to get out and about a bit and enjoy some of the fall color and perhaps get a glimpse of that Mille Lacs moose. smirk

Ultimately it was sheer brutality out there with sustained winds over 30 mph and a cold spit all day.

    I think I chose wisely…

Took the dock, boat lift and pontoon out at my parents and shed a tear. Lol I love fall but it’s always a little depressing since it will be about 8 months until the next pontoon cruise.

Our sunrise this morning was a colorful one for about 45 seconds. As soon as I saw the red tinge start I hustled my butt outside and just caught this shot….

I can’t believe how quickly the red came and went. We were dead calm here too until the red washed out of the sky in the east, then the wind started up a bit. Not bad but it usually grows with the growing daylight. Pretty morning none-the-less. No rain for a change.
